The Beginning of an Adventure

Once we were home, I met my sister, Bodam! She was very happy to see me. I was happy to meet her. I’m used to being around other pups, so having her there made me feel at ease in my new surroundings. After I had a few slurps of water and relaxed a bit more, mom started to make dinner for my sister and me. I kept a close eye on her and helped! Now me and my sister hang out all the time. Here we are to the left waiting for dinner. We don’t go anywhere without each other. We wait for mom to cook for us together, we go out on the terrace together, and we go walkies together. We bonded almost immedately. Mom says we needed each other. She also says she needed both of us. That’s what family is all about. Unconditional Love… With Love, Brownie-Chan All in all, it’s been a little scary at times, but I’m happy and having a good time with a full belly in my new home. I feel loved. My mom and sister both made me feel welcomed and now I know I’m home. Someday, I hope all pups know love and safety like I do. Wednesday 13th July I finally arrived in New York to meet my mom. It was quite an adventure to get here. I spent 6 months in Canada at the No Dogs Left Behind Sanctuary, and then had a long drive down to my new home. I was afraid when I first met her (we were all at the airport) but then I realized everything would be okay. This is me to the right riding home with mom.
